In 2016 Zechariah wrote the poem Mincha Chadasha in honor of the holiday of Shavuot, in the hopes of encouraging others to compose and sing songs with content related to each Jewish holiday. We are proud to present the poem here, along with Zechariah's rich commentary. We hope people will learn it in his memory.
We also hope you enjoy this video of the popular husband-wife duo Yonina singing Zechariah's words to a melody they composed in his memory, which we think expresses Zechariah's love of spending time with family, Torah and Israeli agriculture.
אנחנו מתרגשים מאוד להודיע שספר "ונצר משורשיו יפרה: הגות ואומנות בעקבות פיוט לשבועות מאת זכריה הבר ז"ל" יורד בימים אלו לדפוס לאיסוף מכמה מקומות בארץ, לקראת חג שבועות. הספר כולל מאמרים (בעברית ובאנגלית) ואומנות, לגבי ובהשראת פיוטו של זכריה.
